After School Classes

Our After School Classes take place on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 4:30 - 6 PM. Meal Time is 3:30 - 4:15 PM. There is an overall semester fee of $15 for any classes registered for. Please click "Enroll Now!" to select classes. Classes are broken down by age group: 5-8 and 9-18 Year Olds.

Rhythm Architects (5-8)

Tuesday 4:30 pm - 5:55 pm This class will provide students opportunities to strengthen their sense of rhythm, pulse, and ensemble skills through the preparation of a group performance piece. More Information

Tumbling (5-8)

Tuesday 4:30 pm - 5:55 pm Tumbling teaches flexibility, balance, strength, muscle control, discipline & concentration. This class will focus on fundamental technique. More Information

Ballet (5-8)

Tuesday 4:30 pm - 5:55 pm This class focuses on basic ballet movements, coordination, and musicality in a fun and supportive environment. Perfect for young dancers to build confidence and enjoy the joy of dance. More Information

Woodwinds (9-18)

Tuesday 4:30 pm - 5:55 pm Learn how to play a woodwind instrument, or expand upon your musicianship if you already play. Instruments include flute, clarinet, or saxophone. This all-inclusive class will teach the basics of playing your instrument and applying note-reading skills music for any beginners. Art: Future Building (9-18)

Tuesday 4:30 pm - 5:55 pm Students use visual art to explore identity, emotions, future goals, confidence, community impact, and healing. The class encourages teens to think deeply, express themselves safely, create meaningful art, and understand that their voice can help shape the future. More Information

Digital Art (9-18)

Wednesday 4:30 pm - 5:55 pm Unleash your creativity as we explore the essentials of digital artistry, transforming inspiration into stunning works using iPad, Apple Pencil, and ProCreate. More Information

Beginner Drumset (9-18)

Wednesday 4:30 pm - 5:55 pm Learn how to hold sticks and how to make that very first beat. Then, learn about the different parts of the drumset and how to incorporate them all into your playing. Further, students will understand the foundations of the drumset to be applied to any genre or style in the future. More Information

Hip-Hop (9-18)

Wednesday 4:30 pm - 5:55 pm This high-energy hip hop class introduces young dancers to the basics of street dance through fun, freestyle-based movement. Set to upbeat music, it encourages kids to jump in, express themselves, and enjoy moving their bodies in a supportive, creative environment. More Information

Wednesday 4:30 pm - 5:55 pm The garden class learns about the proper care of seedlings, and how to care for young plants. Students will also have the opportunity to explore hydroponics. More Information

Thursday 4:30 pm - 5:55 pm This ensemble is open for any level of string musician from beginner to advanced. Students can learn violin, viola, cello, or double bass. Music is selected to suit players of all ability levels to ensure musical growth for all students. All instruments, method books, and music provided. More Information

This all-inclusive class will teach the basics of reading sheet music for any beginners and build strong fundamentals of musicianship skills and practice habits. More Information

Bio Art (13-18)

Thursday 4:30 pm - 5:55 pm Bio Art is a fun and engaging course that combines basic concepts of Human Anatomy, Physiology, Health, and visual art. It will allow participants to dive into the human body and human health and make complex concepts of human anatomy and physiology accessible to the community through art. More Information

Saturday Classes

Our 5-8 and 9-18 year-old classes take place on Saturdays from 10 AM - 3 PM. Please do not leave gaps in a students schedule, unless they will be picked up and brought back at their next class time! Guitar Ensemble (9-18)

Saturday 10:00 am - 10:55 am This class will take your skills to the next level with a more in depth look at written music, tablature, and a deeper focus on modern and classical guitar literature in a chamber music setting. More Information

Music Composition (9-18)

Saturday 11:00 am - 12:25 pm This class will focus on concepts of composing music including learning music theory, understanding how to use composition and recording tools, and active listening skills to analyze the music of the greats. More Information

Intro to Music (5-8)

Saturday 11:00 am - 11:55 am Every student should have the ability to explore music from a young age and this course allows for just that. Students will learn about the different instruments and their families, ways they can explore movement and motor skills through music. More Information

Note-Reading (9-18)

Saturday 1:00 pm - 1:55 pm All students should learn the basics of how to read music, and this course teaches just that. Students will come away with skills of reading both rhythms and pitch which will equip them for reading music for any instrument from brass to strings to percussion or woodwinds with no prior experience necessary. Creative Cooking (5-18)

Saturday 1:00 pm - 2:55 pm Creative Cooking dives into a world of creativity and discover healthier options for meals, snacks, and desserts. More Information

Steel Orchestra Rehearsal (9-18)

Thursday 6:15 pm - 8:15 pm Saturday 2:00 pm - 3:55 pm Steel Orchestra teaches the culture and traditions of the steel pan, the national instrument of Trinidad & Tobago. Explore the music of the steel band world through the pan and all the percussion instruments in the Engine Room. More Information

Attention!

There is an overall class registration fee of $15 for each family. There are no refunds for registered classes. Parents may ask for classes to be switched around up until the second week of classes. Classes may be cancelled within the first two weeks if there is low enrollment, and students may be placed in another class. Thank you for your cooperation.
